Warning: MySpace Identity Hack

Be VERY Aware:
A friend of mine was recently tricked into giving her MySpace ID and Password away to a strange website that looked exactly like MySpace.com. She had innocently clicked on a comment that was sent from a close friend. The comment said “Check out my new pics”. It was a link that sent her to an address that was something like this… www.myspace.com.info……. etc….
When she arrived to the page after clicking the link, the MySpace page said “You need to be logged in to do that”
Like any of us who have browser issues, she put in her username and password thinking that the browser had a cookie issue. Needless to say, my friend was “unable to log in” to the fake site, so she closed her browser, and went to her friends site the normal way.
Make sure this does not happen to you. Protect yourself and make sure and tell your friends about this.
